Anyone else measure small/no heartbeat at 1st appt

I had my first OB appt last week and she said based on my LMP I would be 7wk 6 days but on transvaginal ultrasound we saw the yolk sac and fetal pole but she said it was smaller than she’d like. Measured 6wk 4 days and age couldn’t see a heartbeat. So she said either that it may have stopped developing and this would be a miscarriage or timing is off but she leaned a bit heavier on the miscarriage. She wanted to do blood draw to check hcg and then have me come back tomorrow for a 2nd to compare to see if it’s not increasing/going down. And next week another US. I also just got the results from first hcg test and it’s 33000 and based on what I’ve read you should have a heartbeat at that level but who knows. I’ve been preparing myself for the worst case but I’m obviously still hoping for the best. Has anyone been in this boat? Wondering if there are any good outcomes from a similar situation!
