Does anyone still get shy from having sex despite being married?

Does anyone still get shy from having sex despite being married? I've been married to my husband for two years, we saved ourself till marriage, but still find having sex with him makes me a little shy and I blush lol. Because we're Christian I feel that that could be partially behind it as my whole life I've viewed sex as a private and off-limits act but now it's suddenly really important even necessary. What do you think?

That hasn't happened to me. I've been with my boyfriend almost 3 years and we've crossed all the boundaries. We just hang out naked if we feel like it 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I've been with my fiance for 4 years and I still get shy. It's just the type of person I am. He is definitely not shy and doesn't understand why I am. He loves looking at me naked, during sex, etc. I've come to be a lot more comfortable over the years but some things I'm still shy about. It gets easier in time but don't sweat it if your just a shy person :)

I mean sometimes...recently I’ve gained weight and no matter how much he tells me he loves me and how beautiful he thinks I am, I get embarrassed 
It comes and goes. Being insecure sometimes Isn’t a bad thing but being insecure 24/7 is terrible

I think it has to do entirely with the religious beliefs instilled in you. Remember that sex is healthy, natural, and totally okay (especially because you're married in this case). Own your female sexuality. It's innate within you, you just need to unlock her.

It’s most likely the Christian thing. Not married but it took me years to get comfortable enough to touch a man let alone have sex. I still feel bad about it sometimes.
