Doula Recommendations? (Atlanta)

My husband and I are thinking that we may want to hire a doula since we're trying for a natural birth and definitely don't want my mom or mother-in-law in the delivery room with us. And the proven benefits speak for themselves. We will be delivering with a CNM (certified nurse midwife) but if there are multiple births going on when I'm there, I will not have the one-on-one support that I think I'll need.
Anyone in the Atlanta area (I'm in Kennesaw) have experience with a doula?  There are so many out there! Also, anyone find a doula for under $1,000? Since we weren't planning on this all along, shelling out $1,200 is going to be a stretch... 😬

I’m in Seattle but I found a doula for $900. She works on a sliding scale and also accepts payment plans, barters, etc. She won’t turn any family way for lack of funds. She also does pro bono or discounted birth work within the community so I’m sure there are some doulas in ATL that are similar. I joined a Seattle moms group on fb and asked for recommendations of doulas and her name came up a few times so maybe you could try that for your area. Most seem really willing to work with you on price. I feel a lot better now that I have my doula lined up. Don’t give up on finding one!
