Any ladies out there know what it feels like to have a cyst burst?

OMG... The pain.

On 2/11 at about one in the morning I had a cyst burst on my right ovary, it was awful. The pain made me throw up. I couldn't move. I thought for sure I was dying.

I went to the hospital where it took them a few hours to figure out what was happening. Meanwhile I'm in pain... Exhausted.. Miserable.

So this very young doctor comes rushing into the room and says "put this gown on, you're going for emergency surgery"

Here I am like.. Wtf. Can I make a phone call? Am I gonna die? What is wrong with me.

The doctor proceeds to tell me that my appendix burst and the surgeon will be in shortly.

So I'm on the phone with my mother in law and I'm freaking out, I'm crying, I can't get my shit together.

Doc comes back in and says "oh by the way, there's a large mass on your left ovary, during surgery they'll biopsy it for cancer". Again wtf is happening to me..

Surgeon comes in.. Tells me I'm fine, I'm not going for surgery, I just had a large cyst rupture on my right ovary and another one growing that's about the size of a soft ball on my left ovary. The rupture caused my appendix to become inflamed and surrounded by blood. So internal bleeding and pain. Cool, no biggie. I'm fine. Giant IV, antibiotics, pain meds, and a sleep over at the hospital.

Fast forward to today, the day after being released from the hospital, I have some pain still, but also I whole lot of burning in my stomach. Anyone who has had a cyst burst, can you tell me what you felt like after and how long it took for you to feel back to "normal"?
