Are you comfortable with your SO buying you gifts?

Question

My boyfriend just asked me if I liked him buying me gifts and I wasn't sure how to answer. I do like it but I don't want him to feel used. At the same time I don't like it because I'm not used to it at all. So the question is: are you comfortable with your SO buying you things?

I love it but, I never ask him for them. And if he asks me what I want I tell him something inexpensive and creative! So far he's done well. But usually we just go out to dinner kid free is always a treat!

I love getting gifts from myvhusband haha i love seeing what he comes up with how well he listens. We don't do random gifts though he will buy me chocolate or flowers randomly but the expensive or true gifts only are exchanged on holidays.

Anyone getting me gifts makes me super uncomfortable. As a child it didn't bother me. But as soon as I hit the teen years it just got weird. I'd rather have your time. Give me memories. Something that will last a lifetime.

I hate getting gifts from anyone. I would rather give the gifts and I'm the kind of person who never buys anything I don't 100% NEED! My family knows that so if they get me a gift it is something I need but won't buy my self. When we first started dating I didn't even know how to react when my hubby would bring me a card let alone flowers. Now he knows me a little better and will get me practical things (he got me underwear for Christmas and I loved it lol) or he will get me anything disney because he knows it is my weakness

I use to not like it. When we first got together. It made me really uncomfortable. But 5 and a half years later. ;-) i love when he spoils me.
