Feeling stuck

Me and my sister in law were pregnant at the same time in December but unfortunately I had a miscarriage. My husband was all about trying again but I wasn’t. I wanted time to heal emotionally and give her the limelight. My family is very sided towards her. Anyway, me and my husband haven’t been trying to get pregnant but we also haven’t been doing much to prevent it other the the pull out method. Maybe tmi but he said he didn’t fully pull out around the time I was ovulating. So I took a test test and it was negative and one this morning also negative. My period was supposed to start yesterday. Is there still a chance of being pregnant and a test not showing positive yet? I’m a bit overwhelmed because I know my pregnancy will mean nothing to my family while she is pregnant and I don’t want that for myself or my baby. Thanks ❤️
