How to not make your first time AwKwArD?!

So I’ve read a lot about how most people’s first times are awkward and I really want mine to be romantic and loving. Any tips on how to not make it that way?? Music, relaxed.. etc. Just need some advice y’all?

Girl let me tell you something. My very first time was with an acquaintance of mine we’ve known each other from almost a year but weren’t very close. This was in high school. Well it was not awkward, he was actually pretty nice and non judgy. But the only thing was that we didn’t have any type of connection, it wasn’t pleasurable at all. 
Now let’s skip past when I had my first time with my boyfriend. I loved him and was so afraid that he wouldn’t feel pleasure or that I would be so awkward... but I went for it.
And let me tell you I never believed when people said “it will be right, if it’s with the right person”. Well, it’s true. Nothing was awkward because we knew each other and loved each other. We took our time, do not rush just enjoy every single moment. It was just so romantic how it was just us, being together, being vulnerable but feeling so good. 
Girl, I’m telling you if it’s with someone you love and you’ve learned to know and that loves you in return, it is beautiful. I think being intimate with the person you love is so beautiful when it’s romantic. You don’t know how I regret not waiting for him for my first time and just wasting it on someone I did not care about ...
ps: yes if you want to put some music on you can, I would say not too loud though 🤷🏽‍♀️ like low music.

Don’t set up an expectation on how it “should be”, cause if it does end up awkward then you’ll be disappointed.
