To soon?

To my c-section mamas.. 
how long did you wait to have another baby after getting a c-section? I hear so much about uterine ruptures if you don’t wait 6 mounts to a year but online I see a lot of moms who didn’t even wait 2 and are perfectly fine..
So who has gotten pregnant in less then 6 months after having their c-section? Any problems?

I know people who got pregnant 3 times back to back after c-section and was perfectly fine🤷🏼‍♀️ but I personally have to wait 10 years to have each kid due to my health

We found out we were expecting baby number 2 when our first was only 10 months old. But to be honest my incision got infected just after our first was born and took until he was about 6 months to fully heal from the surgery and infection so my incision was only “healed” for 4 months before we conceived baby number two. My uterine scare is thin and my OBGYN has been concerned about possible uterine rupture. So far so good. We are 12 days away from my scheduled c-section with baby number 2 and currently everything is going great! My dr said that there is only one case where a woman had a uterine rupture during pregnancy. Which means they aren’t common, but not unheard of. Most uterine ruptures happen during labour. So she said if I go into labour get to hospital ASAP. Or if I feel excruciating pain by my scare to call 911 and get to the hospital.

I didn't do it on purpose but got pregnant with my second baby a few weeks before my oldest turned 1. They are 21 months apart. Oldest born 6\9\10 second born 2\27\12. My third was born 4\26\16 and my last baby was born 8\13\18. So the first 2 are kinda close in age and the last 2 are as well. They were all C-sections. I kept having repeats due to too much scar tissue (I have a history of keloid as well) and it was not ideal to try for vbac after 2 anyway. Everyone is different though. If you're asking for yourself my advice is to pray on it and go with your intuition. After that if you feel ready for another then go for it. Best wishes❤

I was desperate for another baby soon after my C-section, I asked my own gp about it and she said something along the lines of "we can't prevent people from conceiving again soon after a C-section, in a perfect world we'd ask they wait at least a year to conceive again, 6 months is the extreme minimum we'd ever want to see but a year is best for everyone. " We waited for the year in the end (reluctantly 😂). I'm dreading when I get bigger and the incision stretches, I've been told it can be uncomfortable.
