Adult diapers for after delivery? Can anyone recommend?

Hi there!  Half my friends keep telling me to have adult diapers with me at the hospital for post delivery and that they are a must. Is this true?  Are the mesh ones at the hospital + pads they give you not enough?  Any recommendations on which diapers are the best most comfortable, most absorbing and least visible? Lol

I always heard to wear diapers after, but when I went home from the hospital my bleeding went down a lot so I only needed to wear pads and it was fine. I just wore giant granny panties

I used pads my last pregnancy but I heard about them and was scared to use them 🙄 this time I have no shame and I’m buying adult diapers lmfao. I don’t even care anymore. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just used pads with ice packs that my hospital gave and the mesh pads! I loved it, and plus dermoplast is awesome! I sprayed it every time I used the bathroom and when I was feeling real bad pain down there and it was such a relief. I didn’t use adult diapers as I really did not need them but I heard of others using them.

The ice pack pads are the ONLY thing I’d use after a vaginal birth because it brings down the swelling so nicely!  If I’m still heavy after 2-3 days of those, I’ll try the adult diapers.  I didn’t have a heavy flow after the first couple of days with my others though so here’s to hoping mama cloth will be enough!

Absolutely true. My 1st 3 births I used pads. 4th I used depends  (the disposable adult diaper). So much better. The pads, even with wings, always shift around and leak a little. The depends didn't leak. Plus you just throw them out. I use them overnight now when I'm on my period. But go down a size, they're huge.

No help experience here, I however bought myself a small pack to try out as a few people said to as well. Curious to see how they work. I get terrible rashes from pads, or did at least when I was young. Havent used a pad since I was 13, hoping the briefs work good!
