What date do you use?

So based off LMP my due date is 4/20
Based off early ultrasound its 5/2
Based off latest ultrasound its 4/25
Soooooo my ob is wanting to use 5/2 
But im having contractions and she wants me to hold off until 39 weeks which going by her terms is 4/25. I'd prefer to go off the recent ultrasound which would put me at 4/18 
According to my OB I'm 33 weeks, but according to latest ultrasound I'm 34weeks. Also baby measuring 5lbs 12oz give or take a pound.  
So if possible can weigh anywhere from 7lbs 12oz to 9lbs 12oz if I wait until April 25. 
Or
If I go when I want she could be 7lbs 4oz to 9lbs 4oz (which after my first being only 5lbs 3oz these measurements are big enough for me)
I do not want to wait 40 weeks with the possibility that her weight could be 8lbs 4oz to 10lbs 4oz. 😳
So what measurements are you going off?

Go with the first ultrasound, babies will measure ahead or behind in pregnancy. The do the dating scan early to make sure they get the most accurate date. Plus you never know the weight of your child until they are born and weight guesses tend to be off.

5/2 the latest ultrasound is not at all accurate for gestational age as the size of baby’s can vary so much at this stage. The first dating scan is your most accurate

I would go off of what my OB says. They do their job every day with hundreds of women. They know what they’re doing haha.

I would go with the latest one so there are no “accidentally premature” births that are happening more and more often now thanks to scheduled csections and inductions.
My first daughter, they kept pushing her due date up by a little with each ultrasound.  First one by a week, second one by 2 more weeks.  By LMP it would have been 7/22 and she was born (after induction) on 6/18.  They were shocked by how tiny she was and put her gestational age at 36 weeks.  I had preeclampsia but it was well under control.  She would have been much better off staying in another couple of weeks.
My second daughter, they did an ultrasound at 6 weeks for dates and I was measuring right on with my LMP and ovulation date.  Another ultrasound at 14 weeks, they wanted to push her edd up by a week because she was measuring big.  I refused and insisted they go off the first dating ultrasound.

I’m going off conception date, like when I went to hospital my EDD matched the conception date I was going off so my dates are pretty much correct. You done a conception calculator?

They should be going off your 12 week ultrasound date. This date replaces LMP which is very much a guess and then at every scan after the 12 week once it is determined whether you are on target/ahead/behind based on that all the way up to birth. I have never heard of a doctor doing anything other than that. I was told the 12 week scan will determine your DD and it will not ever be changed after that :) x
