We would like to get my 14month old son a cat because he loves animals so much and looses his mind when he gets

to be around my neighbors dog and cat. What is the best age to get one? Hubby thinks we get a kitten so they grow up together. I wonder though if we should wait until he is older, like 3+ so he has more physical control and there wont be any tail pulling or anything. He is really gentle with the animals hes been around though. We will also be having another baby in July if that makes a difference. Any suggestions?
