So I had my 39 week appointment today at 39+1, was hoping to maybe get an induction scheduled ASAP because baby is big, and wasn’t expecting the doctor to tell me I’m measuring at 46 WEEKS for my fundal height. And she takes about scary things like shoulder distocia and baby getting stuck and things like that... but since there’s no medical reason for induction, they couldn’t fit us in until Monday, and even then we can get bumped because it’s considered elective. But my doctors scheduled me for another ultrasound to see if maybe I have developed excess fluid or maybe have another medical reason to go in sooner. Here’s to hoping I just go into labor ASAP, because now I’m scared and anxious and just overall upset right now 😣
