Had my anatomy scan yesterday and I’m really disappointed in the whole experience. This is my second baby (first is 11 years old) but my husband and I’s first , his first altogether. The tech only said a few things to us the whole time and didn’t explain anything. When she did talk is was to ask me questions about my medical history while she was looking at a part of the baby which freaked my hubby out that something was wrong. Baby was in a difficult position for the tech to get all the measurements so she kept sighing and saying wow what a stubborn baby over and over. She was pushing so hard on me it hurt at times and had me run to my side and was pushing so hard I had to hold myself on the table. She finally had me get up and go to the restroom to try to get baby to move and it worked. By the time it came to getting some pictures of baby for us to have she was so frustrated that she took them super fast and then said ok fine baby you win I’m done. So we got a few pictures of half of baby’s face and one of the gender . The doctor that came in after the scan said everything looked great and he had no concerns which is great! I just wish is was a more positive experience for my hubby .
