Hip click?

Has the pediatrician found this with your baby? 
We had my daughters 1 month appointment today with the pediatrician and she said she has a left hip click. She is being referred to a pediatric orthopedic doctor for evaluation. The pediatrician said it could lead to hip dysphasia. 
Looking to see if anyone is dealing with the same thing or has dealt with it with another child.
I’m super anxious and hoping it’s nothing!

My third baby has this. She was early so we have to wait until a month from her due dat for the ultrasound. I didnt realize how common it is.

It’s so much more common than you think. my little boy has a clicky hip and will be getting an ultrasound next week. I know two of my friends that needed there baby in a little brace, usually for 6 weeks but my others friends kid is now 5 and may need surgery.. he was breeched.
Baby wearing in a wrap is good for there hips to if you have one it can help. Try not to worry.

Was she breech? My son was and the pediatrician told us the day he was born that he would be ordering an ultrasound for him when he was a month old to check his hips because he doesn’t feel listening for clicking is a thorough way of checking for hip dysphasia. He just had his ultrasound and his hips were fine. His ankle actually clicks a little sometimes, so it may not have even been her hip making the noise which is why my pediatrician doesn’t go by that. The ultrasound took about 15 minutes and my son actually fell asleep during it 😂 It’s also very rare, so try not to worry too much
