Does anyone go to therapy to cope with this infertility process?

I have my beta tomorrow and I truly don’t think this fresh transfer worked. Once I get the confirmation tomorrow I think I’m going to fall into a deep depression. I feel down right now and I don’t even have the confirmation. Idk if I should find a psychologist, master clinician or what. I’m currently looking on my insurance website.

Yes! In fact I am going to switch to a different therapist that specializes in infertility at the suggestion of my “regular” therapist.

My therapist has been a huge help throughout my infertility journey! She’s a LICSW who practices cognitive behavioral therapy. 
I can’t recommend counseling enough for infertility. Helpful to find a clinician with with some training/specialization in infertility if possible. Good luck!

I would definitely recommend counseling - I have been seeing a therapist regularly throughout and absolutely feel like it’s important to have a safe space to say everything you need to and talk through it all. Definitely check with your insurance company - and you might also see if there is a clinic or organization that provides counseling on a sliding-scale based on income. In my area, there is a family counseling center that provides free or low-cost counseling - which is great when all your money is going to fertility.

I do. I blamed myself & my husband for two years for no good reason. My therapist helped us a lot and even made us stronger. One suggestion I have is be open to the therapist they know what they are doing.
