Hair help! - edit

I have an appointment tomorrow to get my hair done but I have no clue what to do with it! This is my current hair

I'm not even really sure what color id classify it as. Its faded auburn brown box dye. I was thinking of highlights or balayage? Any suggestions? Drop some photos below of what you think would look good!

Edit to add a better picture. Hair looks a little darker because of lighting. Don't mind my no makeup face 🙈
