Bleeding for 3 weeks?

Hello mommies, so i had my baby january 5 this year via c section and went through the normal healing a bleeding that comes with it... i had gotten the birth control shot about 4 weeks ago and have now been on my period for 3 weeks, just curious if anyone else have had this happen or if anyone thinks i should make an apointment with the doctor?  Thank so much!

Yes i did depo, and i figured it was a side affect as its slowly going away but still a steady flow... and ive been breast feeding the whole time. My doctor told me between the 2 i wouldnt get a period, thats why ive been concerned😊

You got depo? I think that’s a side effect of that. Also you didn’t specify if your breastfeeding or not? Or did you stop. That could be what’s going on
