Lh getting higher ?

Question

Okay so I am not 100% sure on my dates but I'm pretty sure I'm 11 dpo because I got a positive opk on the 3rd. My period is still 7 or 8 days away and I have gotten all negative hcg tests. This afternoon I took a lh test just to see and it is pretty positive to me... why is this ? Could it be positive because my period is due in 7 or 8 days ?

LH can surge before period. It’s normal.

If you  are 11 dpo then you're period is more like 3 says away

#1 Sometimes our bodies gear up to ovulate but don't actually do it until later on in the month 
#2 Could be the rise in LH due to period coming soon or 
#3 picking up HCG since you are 11dpo.
