My husband and I just found out we are having a little GIRL and I am beyond ecstatic since his side only ever has boys so I never expected to be able to have a girl since it's the man's genes that determine the gender (especially not for my very first baby!). The only set back is that we knew from the beginning exactly what we wanted to name a boy but are having trouble with girl names. My middle name is Lynn and so is my mom's, so we were wanting to continue passing that on, but we are a little stumped on the first name. We though of Sophia Lynn first, but I feel like Sophia is too popular. I love the name Bethany Lynn, but my husband is not a fan. So now we are discussing Grace Lynn. We love this, but have a few setbacks. 1.) Her first, middle and last name would be one syllable. 2.) does it sound too much like the name Gracelyn?

Just curious what everyone else's take is on this name with those thoughts in mind. Do you think either of those things matter?
