Do you think belly button piercings are childish?

I’m just curious to know what you all think. I’m about to be 20 and I’ve always wanted one. I’ll probably still get it if I decide it’s something I really want but how do you all feel about them?

I don’t think any piercing could be childish. There are some I find tasteless (my opinion) belly button not being one of them. I believe many body types and women can pull off a belly button ring. Go for it!

Well I got mine when I was 15 and I still have it because of that. I probably would’ve gotten it at 18 anyway, so I guess I just associate them with being a teenager. Now, at 23, I don’t think I would get one if I didn’t have it already. So in a way, I guess I do see it as a bit juvenile, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love mine! I’m 22 & had mine since I was 12, it healed within 3 weeks using the sea salt water spray they sale at the tattoo parlor for piercings. I used that every time I got a new piercing & it kept it from getting infected & healed faster 😊

Just put my top and bottom belly rings back in & just turned 31! Had them out for about 8 years

I don't think they are childish. Maybe outdated and tacky are better words. Kind of like a tramp stamp in my opinion.
