So my parents will say they're not racist at all. My little cousin is actually mixed (black and white) and we almost adopted him! But I recently started talking to a black guy. He is light skin (not that it matters to me). But my dad is having a fit about it. My mom is crying telling me its gonna put a wedge between me her and dad because dad doesnt approve and she dont know who to stand by. They dont even know his last name... he is such a great guy and I havent been this happy in a while. I've talked to my friends and even my grandparents about it and they are totally supportive of me and him. I've basically told them that I want them to be close to us and support me but when it comes down to it, it's my relationship and it's going to be my own family one day. Any other advice?? I need help ladies😔
