I was FWB with a guy till I walked in on him and my good friend making out. Since we were onl FWB he technically did nothing wrong but it still hurt. 
Based on that, I don't think FWB stay no feelings forever.

You just want to be clear on how you feel. If you aren't invested emotionally then you should be fine! If you are, be direct find out how he feels if you're not on the same page then move on.
