Morning sickness and gender

Rosemerry • Friends for years, now newly weds with one on the way!
For those of you that had/have morning sickness (nausea with or without vomiting) and know the gender was there any correlation?
Many people are telling me that bc I have morning sickness that it's going to be a girl. And one of my gfs was terribly stricken by morning sickness for ages and she had a girl... Coincidence or is there some biology behind it?
