Two boys, a 12 and 4 year old died friday during the NZ Mosque shootings along with many others. My heart goes out to the victims and their families 💔

It is absolutely devastating, but I see it as a great time to teach our tiny humans to be better than the horrid people killing innocent people. We have the chance to make ourselves and our children more accepting, tolerant, and kind so that things like that don’t happen.

The world is actually less "messed up" than it used to be. It just seems to be getting worse because the prevalance of social media and global news.

I investigate violent crimes against children and I have a 14 month old daughter. The hyper awareness from my job is both a blessing and a curse. I'm paranoid about stuff that most people will never think of because of what I've seen. Ignorance is bliss.
