Update: beta was 21 on Saturday and 4 pm. I went it today at 11:30 am (shy of 48 hours) and it did go up to 30, but didn’t double, so they’re not sure what is going on. I am still bleeding, but I had them check my progesterone levels as well, but they haven’t heard back from that yet. I have to go in Wednesday again for another draw. Hoping it doubles by then and I’m definitely waiting the full 48 hours for that one.

I tested a few days before my period and got a positive. On the day my period was supposed to come I woke up and took another test and it was way more positive. I was so happy and then wiped... a lot of blood. It was such a rollercoaster of happy and devastated within minutes. I assumed chemical. Went to doctor but they confirmed i was pregnant. ... never got an explanation for the blood. Went back a week later to make sure everything was ok and I saw the heartbeat. ❤️

It’s likely that you are experiencing a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage 😢 I’m sorry, this happened to me. My tests got darker for 3 days then started to get lighter. My doc had me go for successive blood work that showed I was pregnant but was going to lose it, as the hcg was decreasing. Sorry that you are experiencing this 😢 there is a chance though that you could have a viable pregnancy. Call your doc and just keep testing to see if the tests get darker or lighter. If they get darker it may be fine but if they get lighter then it’s a chemical.
