If your 1st was really easy is your 2nd hard work?

My 1st is such an easy child he's 15 months and sleeps well has always been really happy and is just a lovely little boy I'm pregnant again and panicking that as I've had it so easy with my 1st my second will be a nightmare is this a true thing? People have said it but not sure if they are just trying to scare?

My second is easier than my first , and my first was a very easy baby. Everyone is shocked because they all told me “get ready, your first was too easy, this new one will be tough!” Nope.

My second is definitely different. But I’d say she’s just as easy. Little quirks here and there that makes the differences noticeable. Praying the best for you!

I’m not going to lie.... I THOUGHT I hit the jack pot with how easy my first child was and then when I had my second he appeared to be just as easy and an even better sleeper (which is incredible since my first started sleeping through the night at 2 months). Nope. Around 3 1/2 months my second child started waking every 2-3 hours and didn’t go back to sleeping through the night until 9 months despite sleep training and solid foods, etc. He was so demanding and cried over everything. He just wouldn’t stay content long and was so picky and difficult. His personality is just so very different. My second child went from an angel child to an INCREDIBLY difficult child from 3 months on. The good news is my second child is good birth control to wait for a third 😂. And we never had jealousy issues with our oldest and because he’s so soft tempered and easy going he did extremely well with the transition and is a great big brother. If we had a third I could see my 2nd child having a hard time with it.

I’ve wondered about this the most. My first was the easiest baby EVER. He’ll be 3 in a couple of weeks, so obviously a lot has changed, haha. But I’m wondering how this baby will be for me. 💖💖

Due with number 2 in June. Will be 16 month age difference. I’ve wondered this myself! Hoping for a more chill baby. Maybe baby will be more chill because I will be more chill 🤷🏼‍♀️

My first was an angel my second is giving me a run for my money. We started trying for our second when our first turned one and our original plan was to try for our third when our second turns one and now my husband is telling me not a chance in hell with how bad number two has been 😑
