How do i pick a crib?

Question

How do you know the right crib? I found three that are reasonably priced, about the same, the right color i want, and they all convert which i want. How do i pick??

I’d read reviews from the parents on the websites. Sometimes what looks safe and great isn’t. So go read the reviews from people who have used them and get the one with the best reviews

I ended up with the Babyletto Hudson crib. Things I considered: cost (lots of places sold the crib, but I was weighing which store I had the best rewards for and which store had the best sale going on at the time), reviews were pretty good, it is greenguard gold certified (so better for the environment and non-toxic materials used), and it was on a blog post about cribs that are easy to reach into for short mothers (I’m short and some cribs can be hard to reach in to get your kid if he’s laying down and the mattress is on the lowest level). Also, I picked the natural wood finish. I would have preferred white or black, but babies more often than not will chew on the crib rail; bite marks are a lot less noticeable on the natural wood finish than if it was stained dark or painted.

Look to see how the mattress lowers. Some are a royal pain in the ass to lower and I can’t do it myself. I need my husband and we need to do it together, which sucks big time.
