What do you think?
I've been trying to conceive for a little over a year, as a single mom with a natural donor (someone I know), without success. We recently found out that he has a low sperm count so I most likely will not get pregnant by him naturally. We could go through the process of fertility treatments but I don't want to impose that as it would require surgery for him.
Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked, just wanted to give you some background info. Here's the big question:
I just found out that my SECOND cousin had some samples frozen before he started chemo as he was young and hoped to someday start a family. He has since lost his battle with the disease 😢 Would using his sample (with his family's approval of course) to conceive be something you'd consider doing as a way to honour him and "keep a part of him living" or is that completely weird and disturbing to you?
