Long distance relationship
Hey guys, I’m in a current long distance relationship, I am an Air Force girlfriend. I am in college and me and my SO is 1800 miles apart from one another, he’s from my home town. Everything was going okay until he went back. We both decided that I stay home to get my degree because that’s what’s important. Long story short we are lost and afraid of taking a step back and not knowing if things are going to change & is being together because we want it to work but we also don’t want the wrong things be the reason why we took a step back and be friends. We love each other so much and want the same things but the long distance is hurting us and we are lost on what we should do for us that will help us in the future. I know every relationship is different but it would be nice if I could get some advice from someone who is currently a military girlfriend or military wife about surviving a long distance relationship, especially being a military girlfriend.
