When is the best time to tell your parents?

My mom was the first person I called. Lol. I didn't even call my fiancé until after I had talked to my mom for a good half hour. Lol. But I waited a couple of weeks to tell my dad. He's not as accepting of changes that might make life harder. I just wanted time to really enjoy the beginning of my pregnancy before I let his negative energy in.

I told my mom right away! I couldn't imagine not doing so. She has been begging me for a grandchild for a very long time now!

This is my third pregnancy but both others have ended in miscarriage. First time we told both sets of parents the day after but seeing how much it broke their hearts and excitement when I miscarried we didn't tell them the second time until I was already miscarrying as wanted mum's support.
This time we're hoping to get to about 8 weeks and push for a scan so that we can break the news to them a few weeks before everybody else. My parents are going on holiday tomorrow and we're away the weekend after so should make it easier to do! Xx

I told my mom, dad, and sister a few days after my BFP! My mom and sister are my best friends so I couldn't keep it a secret and I need their support either way 😍

I'm telling my mom and dad tomorrow! I'm about 4.5 weeks. I want them to know regardless of the outcome. It's killing me waiting even this long to tell my mom.

My mom and dad came for dinner last night and not telling her was the hardest thing ever. I've been trying to get pregnant for almost a year and she's been such a support to me. She tried to bring up the topic and I totally changed the subject- wonder if she noticed. Planning on telling her in a special way after our October 1st dr appointment

with my daughter i told my mom and dad right away. but now that my daughter is only going be 12weeks old. and im pregnant again ill wait some time to tell them 😉
