Nursery yes or no?

Do you all have one room (nursery) just for baby or? Me and my husband agreed on puting crib in the bedroom so baby can sleep with us. We thought it will be easier for me to feed and everything. We planned it like that until baby is 1 year, year and half and then it will get their own room. What do you think about it? Do you have experience? What is easier for first time moms?

I did a bassinet in the bedroom until my kids start sleeping more through the night (only getting up once or twice to nurse) around 4-5 months then we transitioned to the crib.

So we created a nursery, but our son stayed in our room until he was about 6m. His nursery turned into my office during that time. When my son was 1m I think we moved the changing table in the family room, had a spare changing pad in our room with his crib, and changes of clothes/blankets in every room haha. I think it's just whatever works best for you. I did love making the nursery and he does love his room now, just the first year he didn't use it much other than to sleep (after 6m).

I made a nursery room with my first. But she never actually “used” the room. She was always with me and slept in my room right next to me until after a year old. With my second I just set up the changer and dresser in my room and moved her into the room with her sister after a year old as well. With this one I also don’t plan on having a nursery room. I’ll be setting up a changer dresser and co sleeper in my room for baby.

I did it with my first. It was easier and I didn’t have a hard time transitioning her in her own room. And I’m doing the same with this baby !

My daughter slept in her own room in her crib from day 1. I plan to do the same with our second. No transition needed and the little one doesn't get used to sleeping with you 😁

We’re going to have a nursery room. For the first few months, baby will sleep in a bassinet in our room but they will have their own room for diaper changes, feeding and playtime until they transition into the cot 😊

We did a nursery with our first. I ended up putting the baby in her crib at 2 months. She and I both slept better and I, weirdly enough, liked going to her room to sit in the glider when I fed her. I’m thinking of doing a bassinet this time for a little bit, but I’ll probably do the same. I guess it just depends on our little one though. Lol.

My first had a nursery. It was fun to decorate and plan out, but honestly he did not sleep in it once during his first year. I’m on my 4th now and just like our others we’ll be keeping the baby in our room until they are mostly sleeping through the night. It’s exhausting enough to get up multiple times a night, but to have to go to another room on top of that has not been worth it to me or my husband. Lol

I had csections so both my girls slept in a bassinet beside my bed for the first week to make nursing at night easier. Then I transitioned them to their own rooms, with the exception of some co-sleeping during rough patches of course lol.
