We love the names Clara and Valentina. At first, we thought both names together sounded lovely but now we like both names so much that we would love to have one of each if we have two daughters. There are minor negatives to each name as a first name

We love the names Clara and Valentina. At first, we thought both names together sounded lovely but now we like both names so much that we would love to have one of each if we have two daughters.

There are minor negatives to each name as a first name, however:

1. We prefer Clara prounounced so it rhymes with Laura. We could see this being difficult for some people.

2. Valentina would probably be shortened to Val or Tina. While both fine names, we don't love them like we do Valentina.

3 if we call one girl Clara Valentina, then it uses up both names and if we have another daughter we can't use it.
