Oversupply help?

My daughter is 5 months and I feel like i have an oversupply of breastmilk. When she nurses she is GULPING it back and usually ends up choking and coughing like crazy. Especially on the left side. Any advice or tips?

Try nursing in a side lying or laid back position. That really helped me when my letdown was just too heavy for my daughter.

Try pumping your first let down and then latching her.

A nipple shield will help create a dam for the milk. It worked with my preemie!
