Anyone taking Suboxone/Subutex?

Is anytime taking subs or have taken them with a previous pregnancy? What was your experience? Did your baby have withdrawals? I've been on Suboxone for over 3 years, my doc switched me to subutex when I told her I was pregnant. And yes, the baby was not planned, I would have liked to been off this med when we had kids, but we are so excited to be parents.

My fiancé went through what you're going through now so first and foremost good for you. Id say talk with your dr about it and see what they say. Obviously you can't stop taking it. There may be a chance that the baby will have withdrawl because it is a substance. Have you been to your obgyn yet??

I know your post is a few months old but I just want to ask what your experience was and if your baby suffered any withdraws? My baby was born on the 15th and I was on Suboxone during my pregnancy.

I know exactly how you are feeling. I to am on Suboxone and pregnant. I am so stressed and worried about my baby having withdrawals. From searching online I have seen some babies do have withdrawals and some do not. I do not take a high dose but I am not sure that matters. My sub doctor seems to be very confident that my baby should not have any issues as well as my ob but it is still stressful. When are you due? My due date is March 17.

Thank you. Yes, I have and I definitely won't stop right now, that'd be bad for both me and baby. Dr. said baby could have withdrawals I was just wondering how that experience was for mother's who went through it or knew someone who went through it. Pregnancy has been hard for the fact that my cravings have been out of this world, but I keep hoping it'll get better because baby is worth it.
