Want some stories of VBAC

So I'm 26 weeks pregnant, and getting a bit nervous. I had my first 2 and a half years ago, I was induced at the end due to high blood pressure, was on labour for 72 hours and couldn't get pass 3 cm, my daugthers heart rate wasnt doing ok so I had to have an emergency c section.

Now 26 weeks with my second, I have a midwive, and want to do VBAC, they said I can do it, and I have good chances as is been a good amount of times between both. Starting 18 weeks they sent me to an oby as I was suffering high blood pressure at such an early stage and cholestasis symptoms. Now at 26 weeks my blood pressure is estabilize and good. Midwive said I can still try for VBAC as long as my pregnancy goes healthy. My oby told me that I can try VBAC only if I'm not induced, only if I go on labour on my own. I'm not sure why? Has any of you were induced and had a successful VBAC? also, any of you went into labour on your own? Was it over 40 weeks? What did you do to go into labour on your own and before 40 weeks?
