5 month old waking at night

So my 5 month old has never slept through the night. That’s fine and I don’t mind waking to feed him (he’s ebf) but ever since his 4 month regression it’s been miserable. We went from 3ish wakes to eat at night to waking every 60-90 minutes. I thought the regression had ended after a miserable 6 weeks and we finally got a few nights of waking 3/4 times but the last few nights he’s been waking 7-12 times per night and I’m losing my mind!

He will nurse to sleep and be down for maybe 35 minutes before waking up again. The only thing that will settle him is going on the boob again, where he stays for another 15-30 minutes. He’ll fall asleep after 10 or so but if I try to pull him off he wakes and cries.

My longest consecutive sleep is now usually 80-90 minutes at best and that’s rare.

He sleeps beside us in his pack n play and won’t take a paci... any suggestions? I really don’t want to let him cry it out but I’m running out of steam and my marriage is starting to suffer 😓
