Did your insurance cover breast pump?

To ladies that are already mommies--
Did your insurance cover your breast pump? If you got an upgraded pump from what insurance covers, how much out of pocket did you spend?

My insurance covered it 100%.  I also got the Hygeia mentioned above.

Depends on your insurance. I have Tricare and they cover the full expense of whatever pump I choose and supplies. Target actually has a program where they do everything they have to to get your pump and then you just pick it up at the counter. Im getting a Madela Pump in style.

My insurance is sending me a pump for free. I opted for the Hygeia Q, it's not hospital grade but close and it's the only brand endorsed by Le Leche League International. If I wanted the hospital grade Spectra, I would just need to pay $80 out of pocket.

Mine was fully covered.   Medela pump in style.  Call and ask your insurance and they can help.  We had to order from specific medical supply companies....not just any store.  Things are different with every plan, so just call and confirm.

I will be spending about $100 to upgrade with the insurance, I'm getting the Medela Travel Tote set. To me it's worth it. I think without insurance it would cost me about $300
