Is baby sunny side up?

Question

If I'm feeling/seeing the baby kicking/moving still in front does it mean he's face up and will be a stupid hard delivery when I get induced next week?

My son was face up when he was born last week, everyone was surprised! I don't think it made my labor any worse though and I only pushed for 30 minutes. Good luck!

I don't think so. My little man is going crazy in there and some movements feel pretty high up, but at every appointment he has been head down and very much engaged. Good luck mama!

Check out spinningbabies.com they have lots of exercises for optimal positioning. My first was sunny side up, they can also move/turn in labor.

At my prenatal classes they told me if you are worried about baby being sunny side up then get on all fours and rock back and forth to have gravity help get baby down in the better position.

I didn't even think my LO was sunny side up even though his movement indicated he was. The doctor was surprised as well when he was born. I was still able to have a vaginal birth and got him out in 30 minutes.

No, it doesn't mean anything. I get kicks all over but the dr says she's facing left.
