Diastasis recti?

Question

Anyone out there with diastasis recti? I gave birth to my son 2 years ago and was diagnosed with this. Doctor said it shouldn’t bother me much but lately it’s been terrible. Some days I can barely walk due to it hurting so bad, I’m setting up an appointment to get it checked out, just wanted to see if anyone else out there has experienced this.

Yep, I have it! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Did you initially have discomfort? I’m 5.5 months pp and am doing physical therapy every day. My midwife referred me to a physical therapist who set me up with my exercises. Maybe you could do that too? I went back to see her to make sure I was making progress and she said mine had already closed *a little* after a few weeks. It takes time, but the exercises really help! I’m sorry to hear that you’re in pain! I have some discomfort in my back from lack of support, but the diastasis never hurt for me. I hope you get some relief soon!!
