Does that make you “untrustworthy”?
I posted that on the rant talking about it and how interesting two comments appeared; read the rest!
A co worker whom I never speak to expect say hi and bye, that’s it. Nothing more than that. She looked at me so suspiciously then she just came up to me and asked me if I’m pregnant in the front of a several of other co workers, too! I was a bit shocked at how she could asked me that since we are not even close to each other and of course, that made me feel uncomfortable due to being asked in the front of other co workers. I simply said no instead of yes or maybe or shrug my shoulders because if I did that, it would definitely confirm her suspicions then she would definitely gossip with the others.
Which I didn’t want that! My pregnancy is being kept a secret due to my miscarriage history and until 12-15 weeks, that’s when I will finally announce it to my family/friends so from there, if any co worker asks me that, I’d be honest about it.
Interestingly enough, Two people commented that it would make me “untrustworthy” for the other co workers but she is one of those people I barely talk to.
What do you think of that? I mean it’s my pregnancy and I should be entitled to say yes or maybe or even no?
Btw, I’m not super upset or angry about it. It just made me pause like really? What I did, was it that bad?
***Pleaseeeeee no bitchy/snarky comments. Offer wise/honest comments and if you can’t, then move on along, that’s all I ask from the community. Thank you!***
