If you have unprotected sex getting pregnant is a possibility. If your not ready Snd you can’t take the pill maybe a diaphragm or iud or maybe he can wear a condom.
How likely
We had a miscarriage at the beginning of February. The nurse said to be careful to not get pregnant again until after my first period. Well, I can’t take birth control and so I just planned on watching for symptoms. I think I may have missed the symptoms and ovulated sometime between yesterday and today, and we had sex last night. So rewind to us having him tested for issues and they said it’s best at his age for us to have sex (when ttc) every other day. We hadn’t had sex for about 5 days. I’m not mentally prepared to be pregnant again. Anyone have experience in this area? Should I prepare myself for another pregnancy?

I had a miscarriage 5.5 weeks at the beginning of Feb. as well, ended up pregnant 2 weeks later! Im currently 9 weeks and going strong. I'm 45 and wasn't even trying this time. It made dating the pregnancy a bit trickier- but had 2 ultrasounds to reassure me. Don't stress it. Apparently you can remain pretty fertile right after a MC. Good luck!
