1 year old not sleeping through the night?

Any one have any tips on how to help get their kid to sleep through the night? My daughter maya is 17 months old and still wakes up for a bottle. At this point I think its just a habit but she screams bloody murder and won’t sleep if I don’t give it to her...

I'd say wean her off the bottle.
It'll be hard, especially the first week.
But, eventually she will get used to it.
When my daughter turned 12 months, I through every single bottle away.

You need to be sleep training her. There's absolutely no reason for her to still be getting a middle of the night bottle. She shouldn't even have bottles in general at this age. They're horrible for her teeth. We were done with night feedings by 5 weeks and bottles by 9 or 10 months in our home. We sleep trained from the get-go and avoided all bad sleep habits. Your child is screaming and crying for the bottle because she knows you'll give it to her so you need to stop caving in. You're letting her run the show which is unacceptable. Definitely look into some sleep training and drop this habit ASAP!

At this it certainly is not nutritionally necessary. Also props to you for waking up every night for 17 months! My husband and I hired a sleep consultant online to help us and it was the best money I've ever spent. My daughter has been sleeping through the nights since 4 months old all cause of her help!

I just want to say I feel your frustrations 💜 My little guy didn’t sleep through the night until 14 months. He would just wake up for water. I stopped giving him his sippy cup and I would just grab him and rock him and he would fall right back to sleep. Eventually he stopped waking up for good because he learned not to drink the water at night!💜 I Hope you find what works for y’all. 💜
