1 month old waking for feedings?

Hi I’m wondering anyone’s thoughts on waking 1 month olds to eat.. my little one has been gaining plenty, already 10lbs 8oz, (8lbs 14oz at birth). 
Should I still wake him to eat every 2-3 hours? Or let him dictate it at this point? I’m breastfeeding.

I think at least during the night there’s no need to wake him. Not sure about during the day but as long as he wakes every 3-4 hours, I don’t think you need to wake him.

Not at night but during the day I would wake him every 2/2.5 hours max to avoid robbing good night sleep

My daughter is five weeks old. At her two week appointment our pediatrician said that we didn’t need to wake her for feedings Since she already passed her birthweight. I definitely don’t wake her up at night, and will only wake her during the day if I’m feeling too full. Otherwise she wakes up on her own to feed and I feed on demand. Depending on the day it can range from 2 to 5 hours of sleep before she wakes

I think sticking to 2-3 hour cycles during the day and then letting them sleep as long as they want at night is good once they’ve gained their birth weight back.

My pediatrician said that because my daughter gained back her birth weight plus some that I didnt have to wake her for feedings and that she will tell us when she needs to eat. She will eat 3-4 oz every 2-3 hours during the day and sleep 6 hours at night and then start eating 2-3 hours after the long 6 hour stretch.

My little girl is almost 5 weeks now and we don’t wake her at night, she probably only sleeps for about 5 hours max at a time though before waking up and needing changed and fed, then she will eat about 4oz and back to sleep for another 4-5 hours usually.
