Would you buy a used breast pump on eBay/other?

I just can’t stop thinking about getting the Willow breast pump, but I am having a really hard time justifying the price. 
Would you buy a used pump?! If not, would you purchase that pump, or stick with a cheaper one? 
(And no, my insurance doesn’t cover Willow 😭)

Only if it's a closed system. And definitely buy new tubing and accessories.

Just get one your insurance covers. I exclusively pumped for a year with the medela in style and it worked fine.

I bought the willow pump and didnt like it at all. It seems nice as a function but the learning curve is too much! Placing the packet . And if you are not a heavy producer like me the packet seems to go to waste. I purchased the elvie pump and i like how its a bottle so you can just empty the content and keep doing what you do

I got a free one on a free cycle site. You just boil everything in hot water. I’m on a tight budget so I’m grateful to have one at all. Everything can be washed 🤷‍♀️

I got a double electric pump off Amazon called Real Bubee for $40. I was skeptical because of how cheap it is but it had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a chance and I am very pleased! It works awesome!

I didn't have the money after my son's birth put my husband out of work for over 3 weeks so I bought a used one from CRAIGSLIST. The lady I bought it from was very clean, and she had a huge bag full of extra parts that she never used. I trusted her and I still sanitized all the parts before I used them. As long as you sanitize, it will be fine. Also, if you're buying used from Ebay or Amazon, I'm almost certain they'd have to send new parts with it.
