Stopped birth control

I stopped my birth control in October and we decided to start actively trying for a baby at the end of November. Until the end of January I was having a normal period; however since then I have been bleeding pretty consistently. I have been to the obgyn and they were saying that it’s withdrawal bleeding and that it should end sooner rather than later. Well here we are almost the end of March and still bleeding. I have another appointment for next week but until I was just hoping for some advice on if this was normal.
