Are maternity pictures worth it?

So I never questioned doing maternity and newborn photos but I live right outside of Miami and every photographer I’m finding is like STUPID expensive.

I’m talking like $300-$500 for an hour session without getting any of the pictures. Those are another like couple hundred for printing rights. Also, this is without a dress for me.

Are maternity pictures worth the money?

It’s our first baby so maybe I’ll only do them for this pregnancy but I feel like we will never even print the pics or anything besides put them on Facebook.
