Hi guys, so I’ve been booked in for induction on Saturday due to some high resistance readings in the umbilical cord 🙁 they’ve said baby is safer out rather than in with this happening (I’ll be 39 weeks Saturday)

I just want to know your experiences of induction? I’m gutted because I’d really come round to the idea of a water birth but now looks as if I’ll have to go to the more medical delivery suite instead of midwife led.

Will I have to stay in hospital until I start contracting or is there a point where they will let me go home for a while? Also the leaflet they gave me says partners aren’t allowed to be there during the induction process but surely this can be days in some cases so can they come at visiting times? X
