Can you get PPD three months after baby is born?

I'm curious if any ladies have experienced PPD a few months after birth? I was fine up until about two weeks ago. I even felt great at my six week checkup. My baby will be three months next week. Is this normal?

Yes, you can have/get PPD up to a year after babies birth. Definitely talk to your doctor and see what your options are. I hope you feel better!

Yep I was moody but okay until my baby was 4 months old. It's like something snapped and i just got so sad and my mood was fluctuating so much it was hard to keep up with! I called my doctor and she saw me the next day and put me on 10mgs of Celexa once a day. It's helped SO MUCH!! And 10mgs is the children's dose too for kids under 11 years old so the fact that the smallest dose is making such a big difference to me is encouraging! I also can still breastfeed while being on Celexa. It does take about a week to a month to start noticing a change so I'd talk to your doctor as soon as possible. Don't be embarrassed!! My doctor said SO many women get PPD and don't go to their doctor and just suffer so she was very happy I came to her and wasn't afraid to admit that I was sad and wanted help!
