Did you wait the full 2 weeks of no driving after vaginal delivery?

My doctor said I can't drive for 2 weeks. This Friday will be 1 week and my husband goes back to work today. Our son has his first baseball game Thursday and I might have to drive because my family has other stuff going on... I'm just curious if people have actually waited the full 2 weeks.

Don’t remember exactly when I started, but I was told I could resume driving whenever I felt comfortable slamming on the brakes.

Nope. With my first I drove the next day cause hubby needed to go to work and my second it was a couple days. (Both vag deliveries)

Well, it doesn't matter what others did if your doctor told you that in your case you shouldn't drive 🤷🏻‍♀️
I assume he has adviced you not too for a reason.

No... my doctor told me that whenever I was off the stronger pain medication I was ok to drive 🤷🏻‍♀️ was only a few days

I drove home from the hospital less than 48 hours after delivery. We had two cars at the hospital bc I came from home and my husband came from work. Although, I had him take the baby in his car.

I had three c-sections and drove after each one at five days. My doctor just told me not to drive while I was still on pain meds.

That's standard for after a c section but I drove a week after.
