Parenting resources?

Question

Anyone know of good books or podcasts on parenting strategies? I'm a first time mom and my baby boy is almost 3mo. I want to learn about sleep training, development, potty training, etc. Also curious about teaching sign language and/or a second language. Just want to be efficient with my baby's growth! Thanks!

I liked “The Nanny Connie Way” and “Happiest Baby on the Block” for the first 4 months ( but you’re almost out of that). There’s also “Happiest Toddler on the Block” - I haven’t read that yet but it’s on my list bc my friend loved it and also I liked “Happiest Baby” so much.
“Kind Mama” by Alicia Silverstone is actually pretty good. I wouldn’t follow her medical advice or her all-vegan breastfeeding diet but skim over that section and go to the behavioral stuff which is always gentle and seems to be good advice.
Ok and a weird one: “The Mother’s Book” by Mrs. Child. This was first published in the 1830s and I initially picked it up to laugh at it, but I ended up agreeing with 95% of it. It’s so gentle and kind, but talks a lot about raising curious and responsible children. It’s mostly timeless good advice and simply written so it’s easy to read. It goes from infancy through teenage years. Because of the time it was written, it refers to Christianity a lot but it’s not necessary to be religious to get a lot of practical advice out of the book.
